School is under way!!!

Well the kids have been in school for about 3 weeks or so now...and boy, was it a rocky start for both girls. But they have pushed through it almost (Zoe still a little sad to leave mommy) and they seem to really enjoy their teachers and have made some new friends. We are sadly closing the pool as the summer is coming to an end. We are looking forward to leaf pile jumping, Halloween and watching Daddy complete his first Ironman......

Logan lost her tooth and wow, what drama came with it!! Connor actually pulled it out and she was completely upset that her mouth did not look the same!! Of course the next day she was very happy about it as the tooth fairy came. We hope that you all are doing well and we look forward to more frequent updates throughout the summer :)

What a crazy amount of rain we have had!!! We made it to the lake before the rain set in and the kids were just having a blast. It is amazing what effect the lake has on us - it is so relaxing there. The kids are doing great and really are outdoor children when the weather is nice!! Zoe has recovered great from her surgery and it's amazing that she is actually wanted to go back and visit her doctor. Connor is finishing up his soccer season and Logan is really loving her gymnastics class. Efie is recovering quite well from her hip surgery and getting back to her puppy self.

What a whirlwind of a week!!! Zoe has been recovering quite well as the week has gone on! She still has the drain in and goes back to the doctor on Tuesday so who knows if it will come out then or not. She needs to be reminded now that she is no longer in pain to keep her body calm, which has become the latest challenge! Her 3rd cyst has disappeared as of Thursday evening so we are waiting to see if it reappears before the next visit to the doctor..... Enjoy the picture of her hanging out at the hospital last week

Snow came!!!

We got snow here and the kids just loved it!! First snow fall here all winter....lots of fun was had!

Wow, it's flying by!!

I can't believe that it is already December 13th, where have the past few months gone! We are keeping extremely busy between swim meets for Connor which sometimes can last all day, the girls are real troopers on these days. We have settled nicely into our house and neighborhood, we absolutely love our neighbors and are glad we finally have some friends in the neighborhood to hang out with. The kids are anxiously waiting for the arrival of Santa but actually haven't been greedy in their asking. We hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! We are thankful!!

What a great November we have had! It's been busy with swim meets and Connor's swim season is going really well. He swims up an age group so he swims 50 and is struggling but will definitely be competition next season. The girls are keeping busy with school, music class and gymnastics. We took a trip to the lake a few weeks ago, here are some pictures to show how pretty it is in the fall. We are thankful to be able to see all the great colors that the fall season has brought us.
