Wow, it's flying by!!

I can't believe that it is already December 13th, where have the past few months gone! We are keeping extremely busy between swim meets for Connor which sometimes can last all day, the girls are real troopers on these days. We have settled nicely into our house and neighborhood, we absolutely love our neighbors and are glad we finally have some friends in the neighborhood to hang out with. The kids are anxiously waiting for the arrival of Santa but actually haven't been greedy in their asking. We hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!! (Note: the above picture captures the personality of Zoe to a tee)

We are thankful!!

What a great November we have had! It's been busy with swim meets and Connor's swim season is going really well. He swims up an age group so he swims 50 and is struggling but will definitely be competition next season. The girls are keeping busy with school, music class and gymnastics. We took a trip to the lake a few weeks ago, here are some pictures to show how pretty it is in the fall. We are thankful to be able to see all the great colors that the fall season has brought us.

She is growing fast!!

We can't believe how fast Efie is growing up....she gained 7 pounds in 3 weeks and the vet still says that she is underweight.....YIKES!!! She is doing great with the housetraining and now we are working on the wanting to chew everything in sight....the kids are quickly learning not to leave their things laying around. She is also doign quite well with the Invisible Fence as well. Enjoy the updated photo of her.....

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Wow, it is hard to believe that November 1st is already here. Where has the time gone! The kids had a great time last night Trick or Treating in the neighborhood. My babysitter took the kids out as Brad is in Wilmington, NC during his half Iron Man. This year the kids were: Connor: Anakin from Star Wars, Logan: Gabriella from High School Musical and Zoe: a lion. They were all very cute! Hope you all had a great Halloween and enjoy the sugar high for the next few weeks :)

We did it!!!

Well we finally took the plunge and added a new member to our family. I may have not been thinking straight this day but when I saw her, I knew I had to have her. Which I have been putting off going to the SPCA because I knew that I couldn't just leave a dog there without bringing one home. So we have added a cute black with some brown coloring lab something mix to our family. So far all is going well and the kids are still into her, Connor more than any of them. Think she will become Connor's dog

Look what we did this weekend..

We traveled to Smith Mountain Lake this past weekend for mulitple reasons...Brad was doing a tri-thalon so we got to watch him swim, run and bike....it was exciting to watch and wanted to make me start training. We stayed at the lake house with Brad's sisters family and that was great. It had been a month or so since we last saw them and the kids really missed each other. We also saw some deer hanging out on their property while we were there, that was so exciting!

Big happenings this end of summer/fall

Logan got her ears pierced for her 6th birthday and wow, did she cry! It must have hurt worse than I thought it would. But now she is happy and can't wait to be able to put different earrings in next week. Connor finally lost one of this front teeth and we are paitently waiting for the other one to fall out as well so for Christmas he can say " All he wants for Christmas is his 2 front teeth". Zoe is wishing she could either get her ears pierced or have a tooth fall out as she thinks she is big like her brother and sister.... :)
